Electrical Home Inspection – How to inspect your own House

A home inspection comprises a set of inspections to make sure that the home you are planning to sell is good for the Potential Buyer and doesn’t contain any hidden maintenance issue. A home inspector should be trained to analyze the issues and recommend that a buyer can take electrician expertise for the Home inspection.

If your home is possessing overhead wires bringing in Power then you should analyze to make sure that no tree branch is rubbing on the wires. It is your responsibility to trim al trees accurately that can interfere with the overhead wires coming from different poles of your house. Analyze the connections points between the overhead wires before they disappeared. One wire is neutral and very normal to be exposed but the other wires should not be exposed at all.

If there is electrocution hazardous that should be repaired immediately. It is very important to keep your home inspected especially if your home meets the following conditions including your home is forty years older and undergone a major renovation process. If you have added major appliances within the last ten years then you should hire a licensed electrician to perform all these inspections. There are a few electrical issues that usually found during a home inspection include exposed wiring and splices and painted outlets that can cause overheating.

This problem is usually found in older homes or those having extensive remodeling. Reversed Polarity is also a common problem that contains a mixed collection of hot natural and mixed slot. The mixing of wires can damage the electrical device by creating a shock. If there is more than one natural wire in a slot of electrical Panel then one wire might slip out if the screw is not holding them firmly.
