A Beginner’s Guide to solder wires together

Soldering wires is almost an electrician Job But you can also perform this activity by using a Helping Hand or a Third Hand. In this project, you have to solder collectively the revealed closing section of a couple of plastic-coated copper cables. It is not a much-complicated job but the material is so expensive and you are having different options to practice it in the scarp wire before making a final project.

Important tools and supplies include soldering iron, soldering iron tips, sponge and water, soldering iron stand, 60/40 rosin care more solid, Heat shrink tubing. Heat gun, whiter stripper, and eye Security shield. Prepare a safe working space. Strip the wire ½ inch with a stripper and don’t give too much and too little of the Plastic coating. Stripping away too little will hinder soldering and too much will show an extreme quantity of copper cable. You have to use the correct gauge on the wire stripper so that you will be careful about accidentally cutaway of the strands of wire.

Add the heat shrink tubing and join the wires by pushing the wires towards each other with interlocking the strand. You have to twist the mashed wires loosely in case of twisting tightly the solider would not be able to penetrate. Position the wires correctly so that they are elevated to the work surface and add the rosin flux. For adding the rosin flux you have to carefully scrape the small amount of rosin flux paste to the joined wires so that all the copper gets covered correctly.

Prepare for soldering by plugging in and turning on the more solid iron. You have to unroll it about 6inches so that the ending gets exposed and ready to use. Scrape the top over an open sponge for removing any previous oxidation. Tap on the heated surface of the gun to wire the joint. After cooling the solder slide the heat shrink tubing over the joint. Run the heat until it constricts completely.
